Jalk's "folded" furniture designs of 1962-1964 are the apotheosis of the bent-plywood tradition. Too radical and too Eastern in style for period consumers of Scandinavian furniture, only a few hundred chairs were produced, in varying surface laminates.
Oak-laminated plywood with the firm's metal tags 293/8 in. (74.6 cm) high
