Upon discovering a particleboard skid on the sidewalk in New York's Meatpacking District, Ali Tayar carried it home and worked it into a piece he was developing using funds from the National Endowment for the Arts. The present lot incorporates this original skid, as a handful of other examples were made using skids ordered directly from the manufacturer.
