A rare Mobile Chair, designed in 1927/30 by Hans & Wassili Luckhardt, manufactured in the 1930s, chromium plated tubular steel, metal tilting construction, green leatherette upholstery, maximum length 175 cm, maximum height 100 cm, width 70 cm.
Original condition.
Also this version of an orthopaedic chair, which is much rarer than the slatted Medicinal chair, is based on comprehensive studies to create the ideal chair for the human body to relax in and stay healthy. The mobile construction makes it possible to move from an upright sitting position into a reclining position only by exercising pressure, without the support of levers or locating screws, so that the chair became a forerunner of modern aircraft seating.
