34 examples of this design were commissioned for the Room de Luxe, where they were employed alongside a similar high-back design. Five other examples of this design are understood to have survived, and are retained in national institutions as follows; two examples in the National Museum of Antiquities, Edinburgh; two examples in the Victoria & Albert Museum.
