This table was created by Marcel Wanders to commemorate the year 2000. The top of the table is an etched map of Amsterdam as it was on January 1, 2000. Inscribed along a portion of the Amstel River is, "The larger the island of knowledge, the larger the shoreline of wonder." Only five examples of the table were produced by Cappellini.
