Product description

A chaise longue (Long Chair), designed by Marcel Breuer for the Isokon Furniture Company, London, in 1935/36, bent laminated birch, polished shellack, traces of nailing from a later upholstery (removed again as not being original), height 74 cm, length 137 cm, width 61 cm, height of seat 18 cm.
A laminated wood variant of Breuer‘s aluminium chaise longue for Embru. An icon of design of the 1930s. Good condition.
