Chair

A chair, designed by Rene Herbst, around 1945, manufactured by M. I. O. M., chromium-plated and welded tubular steel, the seat and backrest made of red bakelite, on rubber feet, inscribed M. I. O. M/163 rue de Stalingrad/Vitry/Seine, height 83 cm, width 56 cm, depth c. 65 cm, height of seat 48 cm, diametre of tube 2.5 cm, in good original condition with major traces of wear to the tubular steel.
