The 120/2 two seaters and the 120/3 three seaters comprised shells with strikingly moulded backrests - thanks to flexible and mouldable glass fibre-reinforced polyester. With slender aluminium frames, they could be linked to form endless rows or attached to a wall by means of a supporting console. These bench units could withstand quite rough handling and the easy-care material and the large distances between legs made them very popular with cleaning staff. They were ideal for areas with passenger traffic. In 1972, the 120 bench unit became famous due to the Olympic Games in Munich.
