About InterfaceFLOR

InterfaceFLOR is the modular flooring division of Interface Inc., based in Atlanta, USA, a worldwide leader in the production of environmentally-responsible modular floor coverings and other textiles.
We invented the concept of the carpet tile nearly 50 years ago, and we have been systematically developing it ever since.
InterfaceFLOR, our modular carpet brand includes the Heuga carpet tile ranges in Europe and also Intercell®, our proprietary space-saving modular flooring system designed to solve cable management issues in modern workspaces.
In Europe, InterfaceFLOR has manufacturing facilities in Craigavon, Northern Ireland; Halifax, West Yorkshire and Scherpenzeel in Holland, plus sales offices in most major cities. Modular flooring for the home is available through Heuga Home Flooring.
Throughout our history, we have successfully combined style, innovation and practicality together with, since 1994, a clear vision of becoming not only sustainable but also restorative through our Mission Zero promise of using less of the earth’s natural resources than it consumes.

By thinking back to what interiors and floors were like 20 years ago, we can try to imagine how they will change and look in another 20 years. What materials will be most economically viable? How will designers respond to changes in the prevailing social conditions?
How will shortages of raw materials such as oil affect our market place? What effect will global warming have on architecture and interior design?
The InterfaceFLOR Innovations Network has been established to consider the implications that arise from these questions. Its task is to assess the likelihood of these issues becoming reality and then to develop solutions that answer the emerging challenges in a sustainable and socially responsible way. Our goal is to create an innovations pipeline that will keep us at the forefront of our industry, and help us to evolve as a company that is in tune with social and environmental expectations.
