About FERLEA

Ferlea was founded in 1959 by Milvo Benini, and started its activity producing complementary and hallway furnishings. In 1961 production of small, mainly classic-styled upholstered furnishings began.
In 1980 as a result of guessing market trends and needs, an important change took place.

Production shifted from classic to modern resulting in a product of innovative taste characterised by the use of special materials and attention to details. This new chain of events encouraged Milvo Benini to make use of a team of professionals under the artistic direction of Gabriella Zecca, with a view to giving the Ferlea style new character and greater individuality.
It was the first important step towards design, towards production which leaves nothing to chance and establishes ever more important links with designers and architects.

Cooperation on projects with professionals such as Rodolfo Dordoni, Aldo Cibic and Alberto Livore is worth noting.

Since 2000 FERLEA has been actively committed to renewing itself, with the emphasis on design quality, meticulous choice of materials, and above all the products' versatility and strength of character.
