About Montana Møbler

Montana was founded by Peter J. Lassen in 1982. After working at the Fritz Hansen company for many years, Lassen felt the urge to take on new challenges. His collaborative efforts with the architects Arne Jacobsen, Verner Panton, Jørn Utzon and Piet Hein had honed Lassen’s sense of shapes, colours, function and architecture. He manifested this capacity in a refreshingly different, innovative idea now known as Montana.

Product development

Montana is continually being developed and refined. When new needs arise in the home or workplace, they are embodied in Montana. Montana is trend-setting whenever the company launches new colours and types of wood. The Montanadesign lets you make up a solution along classic lines or in a thoroughly modern style. Montana’s units are like letters you can combine into meaningful statements – functional and emotional.
