Swiss native, Charles Pictet was born in Ankara in 1963. After graduated of EAUG (School of Architecture of Geneva’s University) in 1996, he was trainee employee (1992-1993) and project manager (1996-1997) at K.T.Brenner in Berlin. He realised few projects in association with F. Frey between 1998 and 2001, and in 2002 he founded the current practice in Geneva.

Since September 2010 Visiting lecturer to the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL).
Advisor to the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL) in 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010. Intermediate and final reviews, Braghieri workshops, Bassi, Gugger, Jaccaud, Hasler.
Since 2008, member of the advisory board of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL).
Advisor to the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich (ETHZ) in 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006. Intermediate and final reviews, Czech workshops, Braghieri.
Invitation as an advisor to the University of Applied Sciences of Geneva, architecture section in 2003 and 2005, intermediate reviews and degree reviews.

Research

2008 Proposal for the creation of a new business zone in the sector of Geneva international airport in synergy with development of the district of La Praille and Les Acacias.
2007 Co-editor of the book Co-habitations, Infolio.
Between 2003 and 2008, work for the committee of the FAS (Federation of Swiss Architects), Geneva section, to organise an international town planning competition for requalification of the Praille-Acacias sector "Genève 2020".
