Solaris GmbH, a new subsidiary of the Seves Group is one of Europe's leading manufacturers of glass blocks based in Germany's Westerwald region near Koblenz. SOLARIS products are greatly sought by designers, architects and builders thanks to the wide selection of decors and colors, in particular special solutions such as curved blocks, paving glass blocks as well as fire-resistant blocks. Interior and exterior design possibilities using glass blocks are virtually limitless: the modern material offers extremely interesting options to guide light and achieve a symbiosis of form and function. Some items from the product line have been designed to comply with the requirements of Fire Protection Classes G and F. SOLARIS blocks made of special glass have been certified for use in vertical as well as horizontal fire protection walls in accordance with Fire Resistance Class F, i.e. a single layer wall lining resists fire for between 30 and 90 minutes.
