CMC Steel Products is the exclusive cellular beam manufacturer for the Americas. A hexagonal design is also offered. Both start with a standard WF beam, which is cut in half longitudinally. The two halves are separated, staggered and welded together to form a SmartBeam® that weighs the same but is 50% stronger and deeper than the original beam.

types for SmartBeam® are office buildings, parking garages, mezzanines or any structure with a suspended floor.
