The origins of the company Rathscheck Schiefer date back far more than 200 years: In 1793 Johann Baptist Rathscheck founded the company of the same name that was taken over in 1904 by the group of companies Wilh. Werhahn.
During the last decade the company developed into a European market leader. In Germany Rathscheck Schiefer is market leader with a clear lead. In spite of the considerable expansion during recent years the corporate structure has remained the one of a medium-sized company and it will continue like this.
