GARTNER started in 1868 as a small locksmith's workshop in Gundelfingen on the Danube. Today, GARTNER employs more than 850 people world-wide and is one of the largest international curtain wall producers.
In its headquarters in Germany and in the subsidiaries in the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and Hong Kong, GARTNER manufactures mainly custom-made aluminium and steel façades.

GARTNER façade and services benefit from decades of experience and the demand for high standards, typical for GARTNER in-house quality control. Many current standards in façade design were originally developed by GARTNER. Aluminium: Curtain walls fully insulated and thermally broken, units either pre-fabricated off site (large-size and three-dimensional) or as stick system, with glass, sheet, natural stone and photovoltaic units, also for extra-high thermal or sound insulation and fire resistance.
Double-skin and air-ventilated façade.
All types of aluminium windows (side-hung, bottom-hung, tilt-and-turn, drop and top-hung, horizontally and vertically pivoted, horizontally and vertically sliding).
Sunscreens and daylighting systems to reduce cooling load and to optimise natural internal illumination, fixed or adjustable, storm-resistant options, choice of operation mode, including microprocessor control.
Radiant cooling ceilings and displacement ventilation for improved comfort.
Steel: Steel façade with integrated heating, ventilation and cooling for office buildings, schools, residential buildings, indoor pools, sports halls, roof housings, pavilions, entrance lobbies, atria and glass domes, INTEGRATED FAÇADE System Gartnerâ .
Special filigree glass constructions, rope-or rod-braced point-fixed glazing.
Doors/Gates
Made-to-measure steel doors and gates of all types and sizes, guaranteed smooth running, free from any sagging, distortion and bending. Types are folding, side-hung, sliding and drop gates with various panelling and planking or double-walled with flat steel sheets, manually or power operated, with appropriate control and safety systems.
Special designs available for fire, insulation, sound and radiation control, bullet/burglar protection and electrical screening
Speciality: 4-leaf fast-action folding doors especially for traffic and industry, such as Rail and Post. Also for fire and other rescue services (doors up to 25 m wide and 16 m high). Fire proof doors (up to 8.0 m x 4.0 m) with official licence.
