Cellbond manufactures a range of lightweight and rigid structural sandwich panels. They consist of two facing sheets bonded to aluminium honeycomb core, corrugated aluminium core or PU foam core.
We manufacture our own range of Honeycomb cored Lamilite panels. Three types of aluminium core boards have been developed. A-board has 0.5 mm thick aluminium skins. G-board has 0.55 mm thick epoxy resin pre-impregnated woven glass skins. E-board has 0.3 mm thick epoxy resin pre-impregnated woven glass skins. All three have Cellcore 3003 aluminium honeycomb core. As a result they offer excellent strength to weight ratios at a competitive price.
Foam Panels
Our recent introduction of low cost structural foam panels has been well received. Standard sizes are 2500 x 1250 mm and 3000 x 1500 mm with a variety of skin materials.
Cellbond Precision Tool & Mould design team, frequently works in partnership with leading Industrial Designers and Major automotive manufacturers and has a proven track record in the timely completion of numerous development projects. These range from complex electro-mechanical devices to passive automotive safety systems.
