QLS ABRI is a retractable cover designed to protect outdoor crops against downpour and low temperatures. A QLS ABRI equipped structure offers all of the benefits of growing outdoors with the security of protection form sudden and strong rain. The impervious material forms a series of channels that direct water toward an end wall collection gutter. A heated QLS hall creates a greenhouse like environment when needed and at the same time keeping the opportunities of outside growing.
LS SOLARWOVEN is a double-laminated woven polyfilm product with all the advantages of a greenhouse film but with superior strength and lifetime. It is also used as rolling sidewalls and as a retractable roof.

QLS ABRI is a transparent, waterproof external screen to be used to protect outdoor crops against rain and low temperatures. The screen is reinforced in such a way that one can hang it onto stainless steelwires with special synthetic LS ABRI HOOKS; in this way it can be completely opened and closed. When closed, QLS ABRI protects the crop against adverse weather conditions and when opened, the crop is dominated by the natural climate. QLS ABRI is the ideal solution for:
* Tree cultivation and cultivation of bedding plants; these crops normally get a better quality when they are exposed to outdoor conditions and only need to be protected against adverse weather conditions.
* Various crops in warm areas; when there are high outside temperatures, the greenhouse effect is eliminated by opening the QLS ABRI. This allows for better overall temperature control than in a typical greenhouse.

LS SOLARWOVEN is a polyethylene reinforced plastic. Due to its very high tensile strength and tear-resistance, it has a longer lifetime than most other greenhouse plastics.
LS SOLARWOVEN obtains its strength due to the construction of three layers:
* A weave of transparent polyethylene tapes as the intermediate layer.
* A top layer of polyethylene coating, which is UV-radiation absorbing.
* A bottomlayer of polyethylene coating, which makes condensation drops turn into a water film.
LS SOLARWOVEN allows only 10% of UV-radiation to pass through. More than 60% of long wave heat radiation (IR) is absorbed, giving LS SOLARWOVEN excellent insulation properties.
The LS SOLARWOVEN does not stretch, which makes it an ideal material for roll up sidewalls and rolling covers for greenhouses.
