Kids grow out of their coloured wellie boots so quickly and thousands of pairs end up unsold in charity shops and eventually disappear into landfill sites with the other garbage.

Smile Plastics has managed to divert them and, by a process of heat and up to 1000 tons of pressure, squashed them into 3mm thick sheets. The sheets are supplied 1200 x 800mm.

Soft, rubbery and tactile, the sheets are ideal for table coverings, bar and bar-stool tops or even used as waterproof mats for bathrooms and kitchens.

The shredded wellies can be used as flooring but we canot gaurantee a consistent thickness and they may shrink if not glued down securely.
