The chair designed by Leowald comprised a plywood shell mounted onto a chromium-plated frame in steel tube. The simple, attractively designed shell was with veneer from indigenous forests. Used as contract furniture, the 606/5 model could be fitted with a pivotable writing tablet for event applications, or a seat cushion could be added to the 606/3 version.
