Acrylic, feather, aluminum
13"w x 16"d x 21"h
This stool reflects Kuramata's poetics and interest in juxtaposing contrasting materials. The feathers appear delicately suspended within the massive acrylic ingot creating a perceptual weightlessness that contradicts the actual materiality of the stool.
