An «C. L. D. M.« dining table, designed by Gerald Summers, 1938, manufactured by Makers of Simple Furniture Ltd., London, shaped plywood, birch veneer, the top covered with white linoleum, height 75 cm, width 152 cm, depth 88.5 cm. Excellent original condition. Summers’ furniture is in great demand as he could not compete with the comparable but less expensive furniture made by Alvar Aalto and closed down his furniture production in 1939.
