A “Piano” chair, designed by Gerrit Rietveld, 1923, manufactured in 1924/25 by E. Wessels & Sohn, Utrecht, round beechwood covered with old red paint, the orginal grey lacquer coating below, the sectional surfaces painted yellow, the legs restored, original band leather seat, the backrest with a later leather cover, height 84 cm, depth 42 cm, width 38 cm, height of seat 53 cm.
