A Sadima chair, designed around 1970 by Luigi Colani, manufactured by Sadima/Germany, ivory coloured plastic seat shell, foam cushion, covered with orange stretch fabric, removable, height 69 cm, width 75 cm, depth 69 cm, height of seat 34 cm.
In response to the Cologne Visiona Exhibition staged by Bayer, a multinational enterprise of the chemical industry, Colani designed a series of extra-light furniture for "Young People" for Bayer's competitor BASF. It included a chair, a chaise longue, and a table and was produced by Sadima only in a limited edition.
