Girard designed various seating for his 1967 Girard Group by Herman Miller, and each could be custom ordered. The customer would choose different fabrics for the inside, cushion, welt and outside of the chair, creating endless variations to his designs. The Girard Group Furniture was discontinued in 1968. This fine pair of chairs feature Girard’s distinctive Checker upholstery.
