B-SIDE – nocturnal accent lighting
With B-SIDE, Delta Light® introduces a completely new spotlight that offers the perfect solution to the demand for ecological, nocturnal accent lighting. B-SIDE is a small alu-minium wall and ceiling fixture of clean design. The visible element consists of a 360° ro-tating disc, on which rests a small bar that can be tilted 90°. In other words, this spotlight can illuminate every point in the half-hemisphere in front of it. Furthermore, the spotlight is easy to rotate and remains hanging at the point where it is released.
The fixture can be placed directly on a full or hollow wall. The spotlight is controlled by a LED power supply., The head of the small bar houses an 1-Watt power Led.
B-SIDE was designed specially round the LED, the nocturnal light source par excellence which provides sufficient lighting thanks to its low wattage and excellent output. The LED is moreover shock resistant, has a long life and excels on the ecological front: as an ‘end-of-life’ or waste product, it even bests the compact fluorescent lamp (which contains mer-cury). In addition to the LED, the B-SIDE family is being expanded further with versions provided with halogen lamps.
B-SIDE has numerous applications as nocturnal accent, atmosphere, reading, bedside, and small work lighting, as well as composition element, etc. Its virtually cubistic look all but makes it into a small work of art, which adds a nice touch to the wall even during the day. In a multiple arrangement, this fixture presents a fascinating play of interior possibilities.
