Moai is a fluorescent outdoor pathway light outstanding for its organic shape, emulating a polyp or coral arising from the ground. This formal concept enables it to be integrated into terraces, parks, gardens…
To facilitate installation in all sorts of outdoor spaces, Moai is commercialised in two versions: anchored to the ground and portable. In the latter case, the mobility of the lighting fixture is guaranteed thanks to its 3-metre cable.
The diffuser of the Moai is made of UVA resistant anti-vandal polythene, with a white opalescent finish. Its base support is made of pre-phosphochromed cast aluminium with a grey oxiron finish. In both cases, there is an option incorporating an aluminium reflector at the top to reduce light pollution.
The light source of the Moai is a compact 23W fluorescent tube (E27). Its degree of protection is IP54. Designed by Eduardo Albors, Moai is one of the novelties in outdoor lighting presented by the B.Lux firm in the Light & Building 2008 fair.
