When developing Magma Stone, the designer Pernille Vea gathered inspiration from the glowing interior of the earth. The burning red, orange or yellow glazing sharply contrasts the dark, charcoal grey exterior resembling coagulated lava. Both outside in the garden and inside in the living room, the Magma Stone resembles a vivid picture of the primordial forces of the earth.
