„The intent of random initially was the creation of the first shelf where not the storing is in the focus but the book.
We wanted to free the shelves’ content from its constrictions.
Random 08 follows this path even more consequently!
In liberating Random from its back we finally achieve the ultimate freedom.
The special resin material clears out the statical obstacles on the way for the veritable random“ this is the designer’s explanation of the project.

A bookcase made of “LG HI-Macs”, a new material composed of 75% of natural minerals and very fine acrylic resins mass-pigmented in white.
The technical specs of the resin compound make the back superfluous.
The peculiar features of the material and the finishing hide the coupling between back and shelf.
By flanking more units, you can create large-sized configurations.
