Amanita is our decorative proposal for contemporary outdoor environments, which aims to light rather than dazzle. Made of aluminium, Amanita stands out for the openings scattered over the shade allowing the light to pass through. This creates soft gleams of light that, combined with the a light directed downwards, it produces a soft atmosphere at night. It can be used as floor and as a wall lamp. It is available in three colors: anthracite grey, white and sand. Its light source is fluorescent.

The designer
”A light in the form of a mushroom – the Amanita. Having said that, it is just one more in the long line of outside lights in that style. We have, however, added a symbolically distinctive feature to the top of the shade, made up of primary geometrical shapes, which are freely scattered organically over the surface. The openings allow the light to pass through; this detail causes a certain degree of disruption, both in respect of the stylised impression as well as in the state of elation which the garden generates. For this reason, the Amanita is something more than a dim pinpoint of light in the middle of the garden and its vegetation. By means of the openings and the light emanating through them, the Amanita is capable of creating a symbolic aura of magic.”
