Light as an opulant, luxuriant take on geometric forms

Regard redefines the relationship between light, architecture and form. The merging of two different light solutions in geometric forms drives the design of this semi-recessed downlight. Unlike a traditional downlight with multiple lightsources, Regard is based on architectural principles and locates each light-function into its own form. The attention devoted to the proportions and links between the forms results in a minimalist, abstract sculpture that wants to be present in your architecture. Enhanced by the luxuriant colours, Regard reflects its surrounding architecture and gives the space a dynamic, but luxuriant character.

Regard with its conscientiously offset positioned apertures is the basic form of this series of downlighters. Like a window in a façade that shows the function of a building, the apertures of the fixture reveals the light. While the closed part hints to the required technical components
that are stored behind it. Regard is available as a directional downlight or with a dimmable TC-L lightsource for general lighting applications. As a directional downlight, Regard is designed for bare lamp sources like QT12-ax and HIT-TC or the reflector lamp QR-LP111. Combined with highly efficient reflectors that can be easily installed and allows a quick change from narrow to medium-wide light beams.
