In January 2008 dining chair Cliff, designed by Studio Parade, was introduced. Idea behind the design was to make a chair with a very characteristic silhouette. Something we see in almost all designs of Studio Parade. This specific silhouette is marked by a “hanging back”, almost like a cliff above a valley! Cliff can be delivered with a dark brown powdercoated frame. The seat and back are upholstered (in leather or fabric). Eye catching is the upholstery of the back, which runs all the way through over the (biggest part) of the arms.
It seems like the chair gets “sleeves”. For upholstery of Cliff, various fabrics can be used. However the use of an elastic fabric is recommended. A plain, even fabric makes sure that the upholstery doesn’t show any strange twists in the corner of the back to the arms.
