The history of Estel is a story of the love of furnishings and design, a passion for materials and pure, simple innate talent. These attributes, which have led the company to international success, have also created a dynamic laboratory of ideas, a kind of crucible in which the contributions of designers, master cabinet-makers and craftsmen are forged together, the expression of a shared interest in interpreting and revitalizing habitats dedicated to people and their work. The modular system concept of "Altagamma" has been designed with the user in mind, capable of responding to the complex needs of aesthetics, function and design, in a rapidly evolving world of information technology.
Material and finishes of the top
Rounded, squared, rectangular or oval tops are available.
Different finishes are also available:
Veneer (finegrain rosewood, finegrain wenge, finegrain cherry, finegrain sycamore): realized in lightweight medium density fibre, the top is veneered in the available wood types; the entire perimeter of all versions features a border with rounded corners.
Leather (black, moka, ocean, prune, ivory, siena, Arizona, graphite, garnet, lilac): realized in lightweight medium density fibre, the top is covered with leather. All edges are covered in leather that terminates under the top.
Glass (transparent tempered, extra transparent tempered, black glazed tempered): in tempered glass
Tops in wood or leather are 30 mm thick. Milling around the perimeter makes the edges appear less massive.
Material and finishes of the structure
The structure consists of legs, crossbeams connecting the legs, and a pair of modesty panel for each crossbeam.
Legs are in anodised steel.
Legs with inserts in wood are veneered on the three outer sides.
Cable management
Wires can be passed inside the modesty panels that consist of two easy-to-remove panels, from the floor to the beam below the top. The two panels are available in veneer or laminate finish or covered in leather.
