It appears to float, the riletto bed by Kai Stania. Resting on indented rails the bed appears light it combines the sensual simplicity with an international, clear design mode. High-quality, solid natural wood provides an exciting contrast with the elegant leather of the headboard and the sides of the bed. It is perfectly crafted enhancing the unusual aesthetic: the riletto bed is constructed completely metal-free – traditional, meticulously dowelled joints lend it a permanent, solid construction. An equally attractive and sophisticated feature is provided by the rounded connection between the console and headboard. This demonstrates the ability of TEAM 7 to work with natural wood, aesthetically pleasing and with top-quality craftsmanship. The riletto bed is manufactured in five different types of wood and two bed heights.
