Books are a powerful source of inspiration. And when there’s too little space for a large book on the shelf, a slimmer volume can still be inserted. The STRIPES cupboard concept, with its elements of varying width, makes use of this principle. The elements can be combined individually and their internal fittings chosen to suit the user’s needs. Medicine cupboard, hinged door – STRIPES has a wide range of storage functions, for instance coats, bags, boots, a vacuum cleaner, golf clubs and the thousand and one small items needed close to hand in daily life. Recessed handles avoid interrupting the visual purity.
The joints between the doors or pull-out sections emphasise the cupboard units’ vertical lines. There is scope for extra items to be installed, for instance a camera or mobile phone charger.

STRIPES (interior innovation award cologne 2007, Best of the Best_System) has been extended. For 2008 there are many new elements: niches with rear panel – with mirror, upholstery or paint finish – add new
visual interest. A strip light illuminates the niches from above, and a concealed coat rail can be inserted. Bench seats and sideboards have been added to the programme. They can be integrated into the niches of various widths, or positioned separately. The bench seats have padded cushions upholstered in genuine leather or cloth; with a cover panel, they form a lowboard. There is generous storage space in the drawers beneath.

In addition to many interior fittings available as extras, a new highlight is the built-in digital weather station, which is battery-powered. It not only indicates the outside temperature but also provides a three-day advance forecast with graphic rainfall displays.

Body and cover panels: in 25 matt and 14 high-gloss paint finishes.
Cover panels: also available in oak (choice of three stained finishes) or walnut.
Joint lines: anodised aluminium or walnut with natural lacquer finish.
Seat cushions and upholstered rear walls: black or brown leather, or cloth in three patterned and two plain versions.
