The new Mumba-bench looks both comfortable and casual, but above all very cosy. ‘A little like a dog’s basket’, is the opinion of Gerard van den Berg, ‘to comfortably crawl into, alone or together’. Applying a special technique allowed for folding the leather in the corners, making it feel extra generous. The interior is upholstered loosely. ‘Just like the fur of a young puppy’, according to the designer.
