A clear design mode, top-quality materials and a high degree of functionality: the cubus living programme appeals not only due to the combination of purist design and modern technology but also because of its enormous versatility. Numerous elements can be combined enabling the creation of a wall unit according to individual requirements. The hanging elements of the finest natural wood with coloured glass fronts give an impression of exceptional lightness. These are excellently complemented by the lower units with their angled sliding doors. Cubus provides a wall panel for flatscreens which is available made-to-measure in every size with indirect lighting. In addition the panel enables the invisible integration of the necessary cabling fulfilling thus the highest aesthetic expectations. At the same time the angled sliding doors guarantee the best possible user comfort as the hifi and DVD devices located within can be controlled from above. A highlight is the infra-red repeater which allows the use of electronic devices through closed doors. The symbiosis of high-quality woods and coloured glass in selected nuances is particularly enhanced by the geometric form of the hanging elements and the lower units. The utilization of innovative touch technology for the doors creates a handleless appearance which gives additional emphasis to the clear linearity of the wall unit. With this trinity of quality, design and technology the cubus system guarantees a very special type of living and media satisfaction.

Angled sliding-door Sideboard Cubus
A clear design mode – an exciting contrast between natural wood and coloured glass: the angled sliding-door sideboard cubus by Karl Auer appeals due to its linear aesthetic and its unusual mixture of materials. Constructed without any handles the sideboard can be opened using its two L-shaped sliding doors. The doors, which also function as the facia, can be easily slid into each other and allow a view of the contents from above. Constructed both internally and externally from the same wood it reveals the natural wood expertise of TEAM 7. The internally-located podest provides the sideboard with optical lightness giving the impression that it floats in the air.
