The axechair is a product based on a Nordic trip. With a fascination for axes and their construction Floris visited the Gränsfors factory in Sweden. The axechair is a travel document of this trip with ice fishing, axe throwing and spending Sunday’s on the ice. Floris left for home with nice materials and knowledge of Gränsfors tradition and manufacturing techniques. The axechair is a romance between an elegant legged chair and a pure and direct construction.
