Verner Panton designed his first chair for a restaurant in Tivoli, Copenhagen, in 1955. Out of production since the 1970s, the chair was re-launched in 2003 and was awarded Bo Bedre’s Classic Award.
Tivoli is available in 8 colours, and can also be made in colours of the customer’s choice for orders of at least 50 chairs.
The Tivoli Bar Stool can be used inside a restaurant, at bars or at the kitchen table. It can also be used on the terrace or in the garden. The bar stool is produced with a frame of stainless, polished steel. The seat is woven with strings of polyurethane, reinforced with a nylon core. The Tivoli Bar Stool is hand-woven and each chair uses 60 metres of string. It takes a professional weaver approx. 11 /2 hours to plait one chair.

The chairs can be stacked on top of each other, up to six at a time.

The Tivoli Loumge is hand-woven and each chair uses 110 metres of string. It takes a professional weaver approx. 2 hours to plait one chair. The chairs can be stacked on top of each other, up to six at a time.
