The modular office furniture system - furniture and architecture in one.
The modern answer to fluctuating staff levels and changing space requirements.

In 1996 Denz AG, Nänikon / Zurich, presented the new modular office furniture system Denz_D3 at the orgatec Köln. And this system, which is based on a modular principle, still continues to provide answers to complex challenges, to continuously changing working and communication environments and the demand for flexible, space-saving and therefore efficient system solutions. It doesn't which of the modern office work models you choose - the proven and mature room design elements of the D3 series can be reorganised and adapted to the changing space situations and utilisation concepts. Workplace design using the D3 series requires less space as the room dividers and filing elements comprise one unit. Solutions created with D3 therefore make up the infrastructure of the office. They are furniture and architecture in one.

The central elements of the D3 series are the room dividing modules that are available in the heights of 20 and 40 cm. Depending on the respective plan, they form the work surfaces, storage shelves and storage space as well as visual and acoustic room dividers. The horizontal structure of the system allows the wiring to be connected to the lower desktops or the upright table elements using the 10cm high cable channel. The modules can be assembled quickly and easily without tools, can be rearranged at will and assembled in different combinations depending on the application area and the individual work processes. D3 is capable of realising spatial architecture in large spaces without the need for any constructional changes; it can also be used to define rooms, work areas, meeting rooms, archives and service areas as well as corridor zones. However, D3 is also ideal for small areas: be it the boss's office or a home office.

In addition to its modular properties, the materials and the colour concept, the other exceptional features of the D3 series: Matt anodised aluminium is combined with a number of painted MDF artificial resin and real wood surfaces. As the only office furniture manufacturer in the market, Denz also uses the pigment colour concept developed by Le Corbusier (LC® pigment colours from kt. ® COLOR). The special features: The famous Swiss architect chose pigments which break the light so softly that they always match each other. They are not harsh on the eyes and bear witness to different century-old cultures – for example burnt Sienna earth or the green of the Reseda plant.

Whether you have a standard or a varying workplace – with the desk sharing caddy you can save valuable space. Its main benefit is its flexibility; its main function is as a container for documents and work equipment. The 35 x 46 x 107 cm large Caddy is available in seven standard divisions ranging from a pure drawer container through a simple shelf model right up to and including a combined unit with filing space, suspended files and compartments for small parts. It also acts as an in-tray and out-tray.

As a mobile server, the PC-boy has numerous functions that are especially useful for conferences, workshops or seminars: Flexible suspended partitions in different sizes for lecture or office material, for audio and DVD-media, for overhead or slide-show projectors or as a catering model for drinks and crockery. All cables disappear behind the simple-to-assemble reverse wall.

The D3 series would not be complete without a function-table program in a number of sizes for various fields. Useful details such as height adjustment, CPU holder, sliding covers with hidden cable channels, assembly chain for connection to the power supply etc. underpin its value. There are also tables with a motor-driven height adjustment function for working in standing or sitting positions.

The internationally recognised and prize-winning designer team Greutmann-Bolzern in Zurich claim the intellectual copyright to this system. D3' clear and simple design represents the classic aesthetic philosophy. It is subtle and can be deployed in nearly every architectural environment. The system satisfies demands for durability, well-thought through functions, complex technology, ergonomics, ecology and efficiency.
