AIR LINE is a flexible and robust waiting area system. All units can be swiftly and simply assembled, disassembled and rearranged (using a single screwdriver). AIR LINE is easy to clean and look after, fulfilling the requirements made of seating systems for public areas. The side table - supplementing the AIR LINE collection - features a fractureproof tabletop made of solid-core material.

Introduction
As the renowned architect of major international airports Norman Foster is also an expert in design of airport interiors. Together with Vitra, he has devised the AIR LINE waiting area system. The basic idea: an extruded aluminium beam which rests on die-cast aluminium feet. The seating elements, armrests and table tops can be simply assembled on this stable underlying frame. The advantages of AIR LINE: highly economical use of space and great flexibility. The system is sturdy and yet easy to clean, can be swiftly assembled and equally swiftly reconfigured. The design is restrained and features clear lines. The numerous units structure and divide space; arranged as smaller settings, AIR LINE catches the eye.
