Light, elegant and transparent. Transphere is a credenza, a work wall, a room divider.
It defines space, while translucent and perforated panels allow light to pass through. Transphere is accessible from either side. Shelves may be open or enclosed as drawers and flipper doors. Finishes and materials are freely combined.
Technical description
Shelf, 39 cm and sideboard, 60 cm deep. Shelves 39.80 and 120 cm wide, heights: 88, 126, 164 and 202 cm (2-5 HUs for files). Can be linked in a line or at an angle. Sideboards 80 or 120 cm wide, 63.5 and 88 cm high (1 and 2 files high). Sideboard elements can also be linked in a line.
Materials
Polished chrome support pillars and textured powder-coated sheet-steel shelves. Cross braces for wall-mounted or standalone units as well as T-shaped legs, counterweights or wall-mounting brackets. Each file height unit can be individually sub-divided and outfitted. Drawers for hanging files or pull-out trays as well as double-drawers, 80 and 120 cm wide respectively, available in both depths. Front panels made of textured powder-coated metal. The flipper-doors (80 cm wide and 39 cm deep) are made of translucent white plastic. They open upwards and can be retracted horizontally. Handles made of translucent plastic. Drawers and double-drawers feature side walls made of textured powder-coated metal. Translucent plastic sub-dividers available for the drawers and as end-sections for the sides. Rear walls and dividing screens made of textured powder-coated metal, with either a smooth or a perforated finish.
