Ad Hoc Programme is based upon flexibility. Its simple vocabulary blends function with emotion, office technology with architectural order, personal work organization with lighting. Ad Hoc lends itself to furnishing traditional individual offices, team and group office, desk-sharing and non-territorial configurations, conference rooms and even home offices.
Introduction
Each workstation can be individually configured. Reversible table tops and various base, mounting and connecting elements constitute a flexible module system. All components are easy to assemble and dismantle.
The traditional fixed and mobile pedestals are complemented by the Technical Box, devised to accommodate a PC and a printer.
The mobile trolleys are designed to house work documents and personal possessions. The Ad Hoc Box provides space for files, fits into the Storage Wall, and is easy to transport - be it to conferences or to a home office.
Power is supplied using a flexible cable chain. The Technical and CPU Boxes house cables and accommodate office equipment.
Technical description
Ad Hoc table tops are 25 mm thick, and are available in natural veneer or laminate finishes. Asymmetric laminate surfaces are finished on both sides, making them non-handed and reversible. Each table base is comprised of metal profile sections joined by die-cast aluminium connectors. These profiles are perforated every four cm. This perforation system guarantees flexible and intelligent use of supporting, connecting and accessory elements. Ergonomic individualization is supported with height-adjustable glides (68-78 cm, infinitely variable) fitted to the curved tubular steel legs. Individual workstations can be quickly joined together with simple connection sets. Other aesthetically integrated Ad Hoc elements, from Pick Up and Caravan storage units to accessories and privacy screens complete the Ad Hoc work area.
