It was all set to be a great night. We’d been seeing each other on Wednesdays for more than three months, sharing opinions, jokes, dinners and espressos with just the right amount of sugar… lots of moments of tension, of hopes, of more or less innocent touches, and butterflies in the stomach on the way there.
I’d have given anything to have been able to look into a reliable, bright and clear crystal ball that would’ve shown me how things would turn out!!
