The silent tram, the impatient messenger, Foucault’s pendulum, the bored security guard, the Donuts lorry, the boat with the fake flag, they come and go like this idea for a light: design, balance, harmony, line, etc.
“And how long do you think we can carry on with this bloody toing and froing?” we asked ourselves in despair, García Márquez and me. His Florentino Ariza replied, “All your life”, and my pencil drew “Bosy”.

Surprise is the aim of the designers who have been in best form for the last few years. The challenge is turning any day-to-day activity, atmosphere or situation into a playful location that makes the “reflexive smile” to appear.
It is in this context that BOSY has been born, one of the novelties presented in the catalogue MODISS 2005. This lamp belongs to standing lamp sub-group, since the light is approximately at the height of a person’s chest, although the subjection is held on to the ceiling by means of a steel cable equipped with a chromium counterbalance on its inferior end.
