The self-supporting construction is equivalent to a cantilever chair. The key element of the construction is the split and swivelling joint that links four conical steel tubes together in a turnstile. The netting supports this construction perfectly. Maximum comfort is the result.

Xcone focuses all energy in a central point. This point not only serves the design, in an innovative manner it also allows just that much more functionality, as you would expect from Rosenthal. This joint is really something special.
Xcone can turn 360° and also has a unique magnetic reset mechanism. This patent pending technology allows the chair to gently return to one of the 90° positions.
