Clarity and emotionality are not contradictory. The focus is on the tabletop, which appears to flow in a single curved piece into the side panel. A modular storage system carries the tabletop and provides contrast. Lane is not just a desk programme. Stand-up desks, lounge tables for conferences and reception counters follow the same design principle. Thus a complete office, from reception to waiting area to the discriminating office, can be furnished in a single style.
