Classic shape and flexible functionality in response to contemporary home living requirements: the S 3500 programme designed by Wulf Schneider is a new range of single-, two- and three-seater items of upholstered lounge furniture and sofas with extending seating elements. The extending seats provide two seating positions: a comfortable seated position, and a more relaxed position in which the legs rest on an angled leg support. Wulf Schneider has developed beautifully shaped items of furniture with a high level of user-friendliness and that will not date.

Elegant form, maximum benefit:
single-, two- and three-seaters in the same basic construction consisting of steel tube frame, seat and back cushions. The seat cushions are moved by means of two pull-outs; the action of extension creates the leg support. When returning the unit to the basic position, the frame with the seat cushion is moved up again. The tilt of the back cushions adapts to the position of the user. Headrests are also available, adjustable in height and tilt and in the same width as the back cushion. Wulf Schneider: “I wanted this design to be a combination of contemporary comfort and classic design language. The furniture is intended to have its own independent character, one that suits the lifestyles of modern people and that matches Thonet’s programme.”

Quality materials, elegant looks:
the frame is made of chrome-plated steel tube; the covers for the cushions are available in fabric or leather. The arm supports on the frame are available in wood or upholstered in fabric.
