Interlock, fold, vary: The S 260 programme by Thonet ensures quick order in any room through simple handling and intelligent, secure and tool-less row interlocking without the need for external parts. The exceptional thing: for the first time ever, chairs with or without armrests can be connected with one another in every possible combination. Where required up to 18 chairs can be stacked into vertical stable and attractively shaped “towers” in a practical and time-saving manner - likewise without additional equipment.

An abundance of options: the classically-sleek, highly functional S 260 series provides notably excellent sitting comfort and beyond that also contributes to the aesthetic spatial structuring in a room. The four-footed frame is constructed from chrome plated tubular steel; the chair is available with or without armrests. The seat can be provided as a foldable version.

Materials, areas of application, accessories: The S 260 series seat shell is made of moulded beech plywood, the seat and back can be fitted with partial or full upholstery. Depending on requirements it is possible to mount seat and row numbers. The horizontal stacking chair can be placed with a row-depth as low as 85 cm and is thus extremely space-efficient. The S 260 programme is conceptualised for use in multifunctional halls, open-plan seating, in churches, community buildings and seminar centres. Accessories offered: seat and row numbers as well as gliders for smooth and sensitive floors. In addition the programme includes 3 and 5-seat bench sets.
