The appeal of illumination. The Lantern candleholder by young Finnish designer Harri Koskinen is a light sculpture designed with clear and clean lines. The reflection of the candle inside the mouth-blown glass creates a warm atmosphere – it seems as though the light is hovering inside. The designer himself describes the Lantern candleholder as “light placed upon a pedestal.”
In addition to the tall candleholder, the Lantern collection also includes a smaller candleholder and a vase. With his designs Harri Koskinen seeks innovative solutions for both the user and the manufacturer of his products and his diverse objects have attracted considerable international interest.
